Vicki Peterson and Jeff McDonald in the cringe-tastic 1986 PSA for Rock Against Drugs, the anti drugs campaign with the unfortunate acronym of R.A.D. This PSA began airing in November 1986. Michael Des Barres, co-founder of R.A.D, said this about the PSA: “This one was always my favorite. It was a very Cinéma vérité moment. You could have almost shot it without saying anything. It still brings a tear to my eye because I know how talented Jeff is and how good she is. It’s a rock ’n’ roll Romeo and Juliet moment.”
