I cook, bake and decorate with and for children. I often use the help of my 2 little helpers to join me in my videos to show how you can involve children in the activity.
This video takes you step by step through the process of decorating Easter eggs using food colouring and wax crayons. Parental/adult supervision is required especially for smaller children as it is a detailed work and parts include working with hot water. Also heated crayons are being used during the decoration.
You are the best judge of your own children's ability and appropriateness to ensure the safety of all.
What you will need:
eggs (fresh or boiled if you are planning to eat them)
food colouring
vinegar
boiled water
crayons (I use Crayola)
portable electric hob / cooktop
flat unsharpened pencil
iron head pin

aluminium foil
kitchen towel
disposable gloves
