“The Least Motivated Generation”. As is obvious from this astute CEO observation (made - I assume - while summering with third my-wife-my-life and no kids in the Hamptons), everyone knows I and all other Gen Z Z-gens are just misguided young “whippersnappers” too lazy to hold down a job. Why else would we intentionally miss MARSHA’S RETIREMENT PARTY? Of course, we know the truth, that Tiktoks and reels and Reddit and Valorant are far more accessible reasonable valid than any office’s meaningless corporate company time. So when the inevitable firing and hiring and firing and hiring makes me unemployed employed drifting doomer gooner again, I know the system must be crumbling. Chat, should I give up?

Underneath my softboy aesthetic exterior I know I have two options: guzzle infinite content slop for infinitely many years (roughly approximating my currently inconsistent vaguely 9-to-5 schedule) or actually start something and finish something. How could I ever decide? No one considered that it might be more useful and valuable and comfortable to determine that giving up is the rational logical andromeda-cluster-brain thing to do, hey that’s some decent reasoning! Either that or let beta roid-user course-peddler tell me why giving up actually bad and doing things actually good (who woulda thought, now my alpha male boot camp debt number exceeds that of college loans).

So, is everyone really destined to either Not Give Up till finish inside questionable one-night bang or Give Up with only a whimper? Aren’t there way more people and things and concepts and mind states to be in? In this video, I explain why Gen Z and others keep sitting and screaming and drinking and self-lying that locking in is impossible never-done-before unrealistic mental block endeavor, despite the inconvenient motivational fact that almost every person alive right now Doesn’t Give Up (and locks in) in some way every day. Does that then mean Giving Up is just another way to courteously provide all crypto-capitalist idealogues with juicy thoughts opinions training data originality? I guess, rather than blankly passively conformingly basically impossibly Giving Up hope, maybe uh consider betting (even if blindly wildly determinedly) on achievable collective happiness…
