MUTTON KASTURI GRAVY RECIPE INGREDIENTS :
Mutton 1 kg
Yogurt 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Dried fenugreek 1 tsp + 1 tsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Chili powder 2 tsp
Allspice 1 tsp
Mixed whole spices 1 tbsp
Bay leaf 1
White cumin seeds 1 tsp
Finely chopped onion 1 ½ cup
Finely choppered tomatoes 3
Cashew nuts ground ½ cup
Cream ½ cup
Chopped coriander leaves 3 tbsp
Green chili grounded 1 tbsp
METHOD :
Marinate mutton with salt, ginger garlic, green chili paste, yogurt, kasuri methi 1 tsp, chili powder, and allspice for 2 hours. In a wok, heat oil, add whole spices, chopped onion, and salt ½ tsp, fry till light golden, add choppered tomatoes, fry till oil comes up and tomatoes are soft, add marinated mutton, cover, and cook till done, add cashew nut paste with ½ cup water, finally add cream, cover and cook, lastly add chopped coriander and 1 tsp kasuri methi, mix well, serve hot with nan or paratha.
