Описание: Built to house the British Resident in Lucknow, the Lucknow Residency now stands frozen in time with its bullet-ridden walls and charred ruins. Once a symbol of British control over Awadh, it was the epicenter of the brutal 148-day siege during the 1857 Revolt. Why did it fall?
