1. Nag river rejuvenation

The Nag River revitalisation project, championed by the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and which is a long-awaited project for the people of Nagpur city, has been approved by the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) under the Ministry of Finance.

2. Nagpur metro

The second phase of Nagpur Metro is very ambitious as it would expand reach of mass rapid transport system (MRTS) in four corners of the city and boost the connectivity with city.

3. Nagpur station redevelopment

The redevelopment works on Nagpur station will be conducted by the Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation Limited (IRSDC).
Six major players have evinced interest in the Request For Quote (RFQ) for redeveloping the station with world-class passenger amenities.

4. Nagpur airport

The first phase of development will see GMR initiate a complete transformation of the airport over a 4-year period, including the construction of a new greenfield integrated terminal with initial capacity of handling 4 million passengers per annum.

5. Multi-modal logistics park

The multimodal logistic park would be connected to the railway and Samruddhi highway, and the Nagpur-Hyderabad National Highway. This park would have a facility of cold storage containers which would enable perishable fruits and vegetables to last longer and farm produce and other goods could be exported at affordable logistic costs.
