Bakery Style Salted Wheat Biscuits – Crispy, light, and perfectly salted just like your favorite bakery!
Made with atta (wheat flour) and a touch of corn flour for that melt-in-mouth, flaky texture.

🌾 Ingredients (Makes 20–22 Biscuits)

Wheat flour (Atta)
150 g (1 cup)
Corn flour 20 g (2 tbsp)
Margarine 120 g (8 tbsp
(or 60 g ghee + 60 g refined oil for homemade version)
Powdered sugar 20 g (2 tbsp)
Milk powder 8 g (1 tbsp)
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
👩🍳 Method
Preheat your OTG to 160°C (bake mode – both rods ON, no fan).
In a mixing bowl, cream margarine and powdered sugar until smooth and light.
Add milk powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda — mix well.
Add wheat flour and corn flour. Mix gently using your hands until a soft dough forms. (No water needed — margarine moisture is enough.)
Roll the dough to ½ cm thickness and cut into shapes of your choice.
Place on a lined baking tray.
Bake at 160°C for 18–20 minutes or until edges are golden and crisp.
Cool completely on a wire rack — biscuits become perfectly crisp after cooling.
💡 Tips for Best Results
✅ If biscuits brown too fast from the bottom — keep tray on upper rack or use double tray.
✅ For extra crispiness, bake for 2–3 minutes more after turning off the OTG.
✅ Store in an airtight container once cooled completely — stays fresh for 30-40 days.
