FILTER 8 is a really versatile audio filter but at sub-audio rates it's just as useful. I hope by showing you these patches that you at least discover one use for FILTER 8 that you hadn't thought about.

DISCLAIMER: Joran asked me to make a video showcasing the lesser known uses of FILTER 8. Some of the things shown in the video can be achieved with other filters... but not a lot of filters that I know of can do sub-audio rate things. One example of a filter that holds up at LFO rates is MI Ripples. I think you'll agree that FILTER 8 is a lot more versatile as a modulator because of its 8 outputs and multitude of inputs. That being said (yes I am a Joranalogue fanboi) it's not my goal to push you into buying this filter, but if you already own it, and the ideas in the video were new to you, I encourage you to experiment with it a little bit more and look at FILTER 8 more like a filter/modulator combo.
