This second generation car does have the electronic goodies but that does not mean it cannot scare you to death with its 640 horsepower. The GTS model tested here has a price of $122,385.
Under the hood is an awesome 8.4 liter V-10 engine capable of 640 HP and 600 lb-ft. of torque. That is enough to get the Viper from 0-60 MPH in a tick over 3.0 seconds. The 2014 SRT Viper has a lot of carbon fiber pieces for weight savings, total curb weight is only 3415 lbs. Everything about this car is bigger than life: the acceleration is unreal and the brakes are neck snapping.
