Intergalactic travel can be quite the pain: long lines; subpar service; bumpy black holes. We do not envy those who must zip back and forth between star systems each day, either for business or pleasure. The space traveler's most trusted tool, besides an extra roll of toilet paper, is access to The Intergalactic Weather Channel. A staple of any cockpit, the IWC was legendary for its Accu-Weather forecasting and vast knowledge of nearly every planet, galaxy, and star field in the Universe. From local weather to special ecological alerts, one could ensure that any vacation or business trip would instantly be elevated by the meteorological information that informed one's suitcase with accuracy. In the year 6,000, the Intergalactic Beets Project partnered with the IWC to bring special versions of its tastiest beats to its airwaves. We are proud to announce the rerelease of 8-bit versions of classics such as Nectarines on Neptune and Pale Reaper's Harvest, among others, on this special soundtrack compilation. Along with these chippy renditions, we have also uncovered footage of classic weather reports, showcasing the primitive software of the time and the nostalgia of a seemingly simpler time.
