the discord HQ finally re-opened & i’m taking you there with me! on this work trip, i flew up to the SF office for 3 days and boy was it hard getting up to get ready, put my face on, and commute. can’t sleep in anymore 😵‍💫

it’s now been 7 months since i’ve joined Discord and it’s hands-down my favorite place i’ve ever worked at. i’m the PM for the communities engagement team (working on forums). we’ve been in such heads-down mode for the last couple months, so i’ve been itching to just have some quality face-to-face time with the team. i’ve also been rather lonely here in LA, but i think i got my healthy dose after this trip :)

even after all of this, i think i still prefer remote work but be able to fly in every now and then. I just love my home way too much o_o. hbu? what are your thoughts on remote vs back-to-office?

outside of my professional life as a PM, this vlog might be my greatest masterpiece thus far. just seeing my old videos, i’ve come so far as a video creative. it’s been such a meaningful journey, so thank u for being in the chlommunity and motivating me to keep going!! 😭😭

for my next video, i have a very special thing to share. big hint - it start with a “t” and rhymes with "stitch". 😂 stay tuned for that!
