Kawagoe, the last stop on this trip, is a town that has flourished since the Edo period, and even today the restored old streets remain. However, it is a little far from the JR station, and the JR station square is lined with modern-style buildings.
Kawagoe Station is located almost in the middle of the Kawagoe Line, and this station is the terminal for both trains coming from the west and the east, and you need to change trains here to go further. The train I took from Hachioji Station also ends at Kawagoe Station. Photo taken in June 2025
