Up until the point where the vocal should come in I used a transfer I did some time ago of the Jellybean vocal mix from the 12 inch single. For the parts where the vocal is tacit I had to rely mostly on a download of someone else's transfer of the instrumental mix from a less than pristine disc. Plus there is the compression artifact, and then youtube clips everything. You can hear the transition if you're listening for it. That mix is very difficult to obtain on cd or vinyl for a reasonable price. The backing vocal track is an uncompressed 24-bit transfer from the 24-track master. If only every source could be that good.
