Our second last day in Goa led us to one of the most peaceful and unexpected places — Galgibaga Turtle Beach 🐢
On 1st January, when most Goa beaches are crowded, this beach was surprisingly vacant, which felt a little awkward at first but slowly turned into a beautiful experience.
Galgibaga Beach is known as the home of Olive Ridley turtles, where they come to lay eggs and later the baby turtles hatch and move towards the sea. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the turtle season, but just being at a place so close to nature felt special.
The beach is huge, raw, untouched, and incredibly beautiful, though the infrastructure is still not well developed. We explored the beach, collected some sea shells, enjoyed the cold winds, watched a peaceful sunset, and soaked in the calm vibes before heading back.
