Costume National designer Ennio Capasa says Costume National's Fall 2012 collection is a mix of feminine and androgynous. There are lots of layers as well as sportswear silhouettes, he says. There is also a lot of leather. "The material is very luxurious," he says, "like very couture." He was inspired by Tim Burton prints. Models have a pastel blue mixed with gray eye shadow winged out to the side with a glittery sheen. Makeup Artist Sally Branka says the hair & makeup has an 80s feel to it. "The makeup--it's a little bit Debbie Harry in the way of application," she says of the Blondie singer used for inspiration.
