Cyberbile is a Verbatim play written by Australian playwright Alana Valentine. Based on interviews conducted by students from PLC Sydney, it speaks from and to the hearts of Australian teenagers.
It is a candid, moving and sometimes shocking glimpse into the online world of today’s teen generation. What better time to look at this play than during remote learning when teens are on their devices all day, every day. While sometimes frightening, it is more often courageously funny.
Cyberbile is a play for any parent who is worried about their child’s relationship to the online community or any young person who wants to understand how to survive the bullying that technology can uniquely unleash.
