PRASA’s General Overhaul Contract Mirai Rail Delivers!

Описание: In a significant milestone under the General Overhaul Contract for the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), Mirai Rail has successfully delivered its first tranche of refurbished passenger rolling stock, consisting of a 10M5 motor coach and seven plain trailers. While Mirai Rail celebrated this achievement, our editor, Phillippa Dean, went #trackside to get a hands-on view of Mirai Rail’s facility, capabilities and progress. Mirai Rail is one of the contractors participating in the R7 billion general overhaul contract for PRASA's yellow and grey fleet. This refurbishment will not only fill the gap while PRASA awaits the completion of the 600 trainsets currently in production. As the Minister of Transport announced earlier this year, these refurbished units are also available for sale!
