Skiing Your Own Backyard Glades is Awesome!

Описание: Skiing my Backyard Glades. Fun with Backyard Skiing and Tree Skiing in Vermont. Last year I bought a pair of skins so that I could enjoy some of the backcountry glades and tree skiing areas here in Northern Vermont. In March, I wanted to see if I could ski our woods, so I skinned up and took a couple of runs. It was an absolute blast, but the forest was dense, with saplings and fallen trees everywhere, making it quite dangerous to ski through. I spent the entire summer cleaning up a section of the woods and cutting trees to create two ski glades. Now that we have a bit of snow here in Vermont, I finally was able to get a few runs in today and enjoy the fruits of my labor. The cover is a bit thin, but skiing through the trees was so much fun! I can't wait to spend the winter skiing the house whenever I'm not on the mountain! Check out the video of today's adventure!

The Northeast Kingdom is an adventure playground with several ski resorts nearby. My goal this winter is to ski at least 100 days here at my backyard glades, at other backcountry glades in the region, Jay Peak Resort, Burke Mountain, and the Lyndon Outing Club. This should be an amazing winter.
