After Daksha’s yajna is destroyed and the universe is saved from Veerabhadra’s fury,
Lord Shiva restores what was broken and forgives even Daksha — becoming Shankara, the merciful one.
Yet mercy comes easily to Him for the world,
not for Himself.
Holding the remains of Sati in His hands and Her memories in His heart,
Shiva withdraws from creation, consumed by a grief He never allows to surface.
This song is Adi Shakti’s inner voice —
not spoken in anguish, but in calm, eternal compassion.
She watches her consort protect the universe, forgive His enemies,
and yet refuse solace for His own pain.
Knowing that only separation can still the storm within Him,
She asks Lord Vishnu to sever Her lifeless body,
so that Shakti may remain in the world as 52 Shakti Peethas,
guarded by Bhairava, sustaining cosmic balance.
Before departing, She consoles Shiva —
promising to return again in human form, as Parvati,
where love will find its way back.
This song is not about loss.
It is about love that transcends form, time, and even death.
