Hi ! It's been one year since I started my Youtube channel !
This time I made a video with a different process. Here I use my #Korg #Minilogue PG as midi controller with #Ableton and I recorded this #drums with the #Yamaha #EAD10 drum module, thanks to "La Baguetterie" in Marseille (France).

Gears :
This Yamaha EAD 10 can do more than just record your drum, It can add effects like reverbs or chorus on it, and lot more.
I try it, but I only use a clean recording here because I recorded this drums really quickly !

Maybe you will ask why I use my Minilogue as midi controller : I love it, I'm used to it, and I didn't have anything else to did it at this time !

Inspiration :
My principal inspiration here (even if it’s hard to see), was #DarkFantasy movies from the 80-90. Don’t know how, but it did influence me.
Maybe Dark Soul and Berserk have their role here !
I think it’s more obvious at the end of the video with the Choir sound (that
I didn’t recorded on video with the Minilogue
because I changed it a lot on Ableton).
It's a kind of #Darkwave or #Darksynth (as you like), mixed with #80s cheezy guitar..
I was also inpired by Baba O'Riley from The Who for the intro, but I made it really darker haha.

It was really long to finish this video (I recorded the drum part in Febuary !) because I moved a lot since then, because of the Covid. Now I'm finally in a cool place with a true desk for work !
