Vegan Tahini Carmel Bar

Ingredients:
For the biscuit base
70g oat flour – plain rolled oats blended into a flour in the food processor. Use gluten-free oats if allergic/intolerant to gluten.
50g ground almonds
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp maple syrup
3.5 tbsp coconut oil, melted
For the caramel date layer
140g dates
3 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp milk of choice
pinch of salt
For the chocolate coating
150g dark chocolate, melted
Recipe Summary: Combine almond and oat flours and add kosher salt, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Mix together to combine. Press biscuit mixture into loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Place in freezer. Blend together dates, milk, tahini, salt until smooth. Spread on top of biscuit layer. Freezer for 1-2 hours. In a double boiler, melt chocolate until smooth. Slice biscuit and caramel layers into bars. Dip into chocolate and let chill in the frig for 20 minutes.
