This is the full length trip report with natural sounds and commentary from a 4-day backpacking adventure that Joey and I took to the Shining Rock Wilderness & Sam Knob area in North Carolina late-May/early-June 2019. We traveled a figure 8 loop that covered ~42 miles in the Pisgah National Forest, including the upper half of the Art Loeb Trail.
