Today I’m exploring an abandoned shipping barge tucked away in the crystal-clear waters of Abaco, Bahamas. This ship, the Inagua Sea, has been stuck off Treasure Cay for months. We climbed aboard, explored inside, jumped off into the ocean, and snorkeled around this forgotten piece of history!
From rusted steel walls to colorful marine life below the surface, this barge has turned into a mix of mystery and adventure. If you love exploring hidden gems, shipwreck vibes, and snorkeling in paradise, you’ll want to see this one!
I also talk about the history of this ship, the Inagua Sea, and information I learned from the websites Marinetraffic.com and Balticshipping.com.
I am hoping this video can shed some light on the need of it's removal from the shallow bank it sits on. From an environmental standpoint and a liability issue, i'm sure it is only a matter of time before it has a negative impact on the area.
