A slideshow to honor the life of Doris (Washburn) Freewalt.
July 11, 1934 - March 3, 2026
I published this for the family, to enjoy some memories and remember the good times with my grandma. If you're not a Freewalt, you would have loved her and she would have welcomed you into her house for a cup of coffee, something to eat, and some good conversation.
A little excerpt from her obituary:
Doris was a nurse and had attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. After her retirement, she enjoyed having her family around her. She was always baking and cooking for everyone. Doris always had a smile, a pot of coffee on, and time to listen to us all. She was a mom and grandma to everyone. The kids all loved playing in her 40 Acre Woods. The adventures we had will always be with us.
