In this travel vlog, I’ll take you through the stunning nature trails, give tips for visiting, and share my real experiences as I explore these natural wonders of Kazakhstan.


Kaindy Lake is an idyllic mountain lake in Kazakhstan’s portion of the Tian Shan Mountains, close to the country’s largest city, Almaty. The lake was formed after an earthquake in 1911, which caused a major landslide, effectively creating a natural dam. Successively, rainwater filled the valley and created the lake.
I think even better as from there you can reach Kolsai lake by foot in 2-2,5 h or by horse in 1,5-2h. Take a horse - it is safe, not difficult and great fun.

Kolsay Lakes National Park is located on the north slope of the Tian Shan Mountains, southeast Kazakhstan. Often referred to as "Pearls of Tien Shan", the park's main feature are the Kolsay Lakes located between the Raiymbek District and Talgar District of Almaty Region. The scenic Lake Kaindy is also within the park
