Shima Hosseininasab is a Ph.D. candidate in Public History at NC State University with a background in architecture. Her research centers on monuments, architecture, and community engagement in shaping historical meaning through preservation and re-use. Shima has served as a history lecturer at NC State University and was a member of the exhibits and processing team at the NCSU Libraries Special Collections Research Center.
