Very Easy Battery Saving Mod for Calipers

In this video I'm modifying my digital calipers so that I can add a switch to the battery contacts to prevent them from accidentally turning on while in storage.

The mod is simple enough that it can be done in just an afternoon and does not alters the functionality of the calipers in any way and they can also be stored in the original box since there is enough space.

We use these calipers at my wife business for personalized products and decorations:
