A mix of red oak and sassafras today.
You may notice at 3:15 I temporarily abandon this cut even though it almost seems finished.
There was a significant amount of weight pushing down on this particular spot, so I decided to move further up the site to relieve some of that pressure.
I am very glad I did, because even after removing three or four heavy portions, the aforementioned cut still jumped up higher than I expected when it finally let go.
This session felt great all around, no complaints!
