👉 Cake Ingredients:
166 g unsalted butter (room temperature)
166 g cream cheese
190 g powdered sugar (about 1 ½ cups)
3 large eggs
150 g all-purpose flour (about 1 ¼ cups)
2 tsp baking powder (≈ 6–7 g)
1 tbsp lemon zest (yellow peel only)
½ tsp vanilla extract
👉 Frosting Ingredients:
120 g cream cheese (chilled)
150 g whipping cream (whipped to stiff peaks)
50–60 g powdered sugar
1 tbsp lemon zest
We’ll beat the butter and cream cheese until creamy, add sugar, zest, and vanilla, then mix in eggs one by one. Finally, fold in sifted flour and baking powder. Bake at 170 °C (340 °F) for 35–45 minutes. Once cooled, frost with a light whipped cream and cream cheese frosting for the ultimate citrusy treat.
