At Nenagh station, Co. Tipperary, a 2x2 2800 class DMU set forms the early morning service from Limerick. The set is split in two with one (no. 2810) continuing to Ballybrophy, the other (no. 2816) returning to Limerick.
Next some views of Roscrea station which still retains it's signal cabin & semaphore signalling.
5 miles east of Roscrea at Quaker's Road level crossing, Ballintaggart, 2-piece 2800 class DMU set no. 2810 passes on a Ballybrophy - Limerick service.
At Ballybrophy, Co. Laois, where the Nenagh branch joins the Dublin - Cork mainline, firstly Mk4 set no. 4003, propelled by GM 201 class no. 224 passes on a Cork - Dublin service. Following this 234 heads Mk4 set no. 4008 passing on a Dublin - Cork service.
