If you've read about Balance of Performance changes and certain teams complaining about inequities, Negri's footage provides a visual depiction of how two DPs make their speed in different ways. It also demonstrates how even the smallest BoP advantage can make one model more competitive than the other.

The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 Ford EcoBoost motor allows the Brazilian ace to fly in the corners, although he does have a touch of understeer to manage. Ahead of him, the No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP, with its naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter Chevy V8, is also fast in the corners, but when it hits a straight, the big V8 leaves its turbocharged rival behind.​

The next time you're wondering why teams and manufacturers are constantly lobbying for BoP adjustments, keep Negri's video in mind. He's pushing hard, the AXR car is being pushed hard, but there's a performance gap that can't be erased by effort or talent.
