Villanova University football player D'Hani Cobbs arrested for alleged sexual assault of student

Описание: A Villanova University freshman football player has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting another student. The University confirmed on Monday that D'Hani Cobbs was arrested. The football player was arrested on January 30 after allegedly sexually assaulting another student on December 6.

Cobbs is currently facing charges of rape by forcible compulsion, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault by forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault without consent, sexual assault, indecent assault by forcible compulsion, and indecent assault without consent.

According to the University, Villanova University Police arrested Cobbs on January 30 and charged him with sexually assaulting another student. The University says campus police launched an investigation, notified the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, and removed Cobbs from campus after being made aware of the allegations.

Cobbs's biography page on the Villanova Athletics website has been removed. Cobbs is set to return to court on February 12 for a preliminary hearing. #News #Crime
