It's tempting to just jump on a motorcycle like this and ride. However, before riding any preowned motorcycle, we need to look the bike over carefully and make sure it is safe and reliable.
With only 10,090 miles on the odometer, this 24-year-old motorcycle spent a lot of time parked safely in a garage. While garage protection is good, low mileage and long periods of storage raise some concerns. Looking the bike over, there are a few items that need attention. The follow-up will be rebuilding the Keihin CV40 carburetor and flushing the brake system.
