I Made an Evolution Simulator (with silly little guys)

This video explores my journey of creating an evolution simulator in Unity to look at natural selection, genetic mutations, and lots of random features as they entered my sleep-deprived brain.

This project has been inspired by the evolutionary efforts of ‪@SebastianLague‬ and ‪@PrimerBlobs‬. Here, I programmed an entire virtual ecosystem where virtual creatures mutate, hunt, and evolve in (hopefully) interesting ways! I was actually first intrigued by a biology course at university (which I wasn't initially planning on taking!), but it transformed into this multi-month project which I deeply hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed making :)
