Clare Didn’t Know About Matt James Bachelor Casting:
So as we all know Clare’s season has been delayed & it was previously revealed that her season would most likely be at least partially recast

WELL- as we all just learned Matt James historically just became our next BACHELOR

Which fans are thrilled about BUT this obviously raises some questions for Clare’s season

So first of all his spot is up for grabs And SECOND- Clare apparently DIDN’T know about Matt’s casting A source told US Weekly QUOTE:
“Clare didn’t know about Matt becoming the Bachelor until GMA announcement.Decisions are still being made when it comes to her cast.”

Clare may not get a chance to meet Matt BUT she’s actually extremely lucky that his casting was announced NOW Every season the issue of if contestants are there for the right reasons comes up.

Are people just trying to be famous? Get cast as the next bachelor or bachelorette. Now that Matt has been announced that concern is OFF the table ABC executive Rob Mills said in an interview with Variety QUOTE:
“I think where this is really great for Clare is that every guy who will be on her season will know there is no chance of becoming The Bachelor, so they should really all be there only for Clare,”

Clare Crawley has previously expressed that whats most important to her is someone genuinely looking for love so this really does seem like a win win
