Today we start our newscast with the latest on the K-pop front amid the release of BTS's new album titled Arirang just four hours ago as the group prepares for a comeback concert tomorrow evening in downtown Seoul.
Our Park Jun-han starts us off.

K-Pop boy band BTS released the 14 track full album "ARIRANG" at 1 PM Korean time on Friday, with the title track "SWIM."
BTS members took an active, hands-on role throughout the production of "ARIRANG," contributing to songwriting across most tracks and collaborating with top global producers.
In a livestream to mark the album's release, BTS members said they intentionally incorporated Korean elements into the album and explained the significance behind the title "ARIRANG."


A standout moment comes in the first track "Body to Body," where the latter part of the song features a subtle yet powerful interpolation of the melody from the traditional Korean folk song Arirang.
It doesn't end with sampling; BTS bring the folk song into a modern reimagining that weaves in the soul of Korea's most iconic tune, symbolizing longing, reunion, and resilience.
