Hey everyone! Here is EA55 seen going through multiple housing estates of Athlone up until Danesfort while on a A1 to Bealnamulla. This is surprisingly my second EA and it’s also my first time trying an Athlone Town Service in which I find them to be okay and they both start and end in the same allocations of both Bealnamulla and The Kilmartin Centre. EA55 is the EA in its batch with it being apart of the EA46-55 batch of EAs in 2024, they were due to go to Sligo when they entered service but because Sligo don’t have any installations of ESB charging stations yet Athlone decided to hold onto them as they currently have enough charging stations for both the Sligo batch & their own batch. Quite coincidentally aswell not long after this video was made it has being announced that the Dublin batch of EAs are set to return to service this coming Monday which hence to why I uploaded this.
