Описание: Nashik is the third-largest urban area in Maharashtra covering an area of 267.48 sq. km. with a population of 14.8 lakh as per the 2011 census. Situated on the banks of river Godavari, the city is rapidly evolving on industrial, economic, political, social, and cultural fronts. Nashik has a unique identity of its own, owing to its mythological, historical, social, and cultural significance. It also plays host to the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, which is celebrated once in every 12 years. Nashik is also a major commercial and political centre in the western region of Maharashtra. It is also famous as 'Grape City' for being a major trade centre of grapes cultivated in the area.

As Nashik is one of the rapidly progressing economies in the country, the city experiences rapid population growth because of the natural advancements and high migration rates in the urban areas. This increase in population, which directly contributes to the increased motorization and pollution in the city, underscores the need for a high‐quality, sustainable and affordable public transport system for the citizens. In order to meet the transportation needs of the city and discourage the personal use of vehicles, Nashik Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (NMPML), under its brand name of CITILINC, takes pride in being the lifeline of one of the fastest-growing cities of India by creating an efficient and sustainable public transport infrastructure that meets the short term and long‐term transport needs of the city.

CITILINC aspires to create a sustainable and efficient public transport infrastructure for the city by operating its own city bus service to meet the transportation needs of the citizens and thereby providing easy commute access to citizens for their daily transport needs. CITILINC will play a pivotal role in the sustainable development of the city. This aims to connect every nook and corner of the city in the most sustainable manner by deploying the best technology, highest safety standards, and providing affordable services for our passengers.

ITMS: Intelligent Transit Management System
• Through ITMS we can monitor routes taken by bus. People will get improved service through ITMS.
• ITMS will provide information regarding arrival of bus, total trip length and time required for trip at their fingertips.
• It will be used to keep check on the punctuality and reliability of bus services.
• Based on data received from ITMS we can plan new routes, or we can increase bus frequency on high demand routes.

Real-time Passenger Information Systems
• PIS displays at Bus Stops and Terminals, mobile app and website will provide the information to passengers about expected arrival and departure times of the city buses.
• User can see the entire City Bus Network.

Smart Card
• Helps passengers purchase tickets easily.

Mobile Application
• Enables passengers to track the bus live and book the ticket online.
• Helps users set their favourite / frequent stops (Home, Office etc.) for easy journey planning.
• Passenger will be able to see all nearby stations for his location, search for desired stations, and can see bus arriving information for the respective station.
• Passenger will be able to see route number, route name, and expected arrival time of the bus.
• Passenger can buy online ticket and pass for travel.
• Passenger will be able to submit feedback and grievances.
• Users can share their location to their trusted contacts for any emergency.
• User can send SOS (Emergency) Alert to the control room including preferable additional contact for any emergency situation.
• Users can see announcements made by the CITILINC team.

CCTV
• Commuters would be safe under the watch of CCTV surveillance cameras inside the bus.

In-Bus Passenger Announcement System:
• The bus will have In-Bus Passenger Announcement System where the bus will announce the Current Stop and Next Stop.

SOS
• User can send SOS (Emergency) Alert to the control room including preferable additional contact for any emergency situation.

Online Tickets & Passes
• Commuters can book tickets / passes online using Citilinc mobile app or website.
• Commuters can purchase Smart cards online using Citilinc mobile app or website.
