Representatives of three different commercial kitchens that vary in design & purpose, as well as the department of health give ideas on how you can get a commercial kitchen started in your farm or community. Learn about the kitchens built by garden owners, as well as how a community shares their school kitchen throughout the summer, and go over the considerations for designing your kitchen.
Panelists include Michelle Grosek and Kiara Poitra of Bear Butte Gardens, Peggy Martin of Cedar Creek Gardens, Joan Sacrasin who helped launch the Duel Co Community Kitchen, and John Osburn with the SD DOH.
