BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has cautioned her founding the birthplace of the younger son Arafat Rahman Coco, the founder of BNP, and the death anniversary of former President Ziaur Rahman. In the afternoon, Khaleda Zia stayed for some time near Koko's grave at Banani graveyard.

During this time, he prayed for the forgiveness of Coco's spirit. In addition to Khaleda Zia, senior party leaders and activists also participated in the prayer. Earlier, in the morning, Arafat Rahman Koko visited the graveyard and distributed food among poor destitute, party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul said.

Regarding the next election, Mirza Fakhrul said, the present government is again patching for a one-party election. He also said that if the next national election is not under non-party government, then the people will not participate in the elections. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul has commented that the Awami League's character has been reflected in the incidents of BCL attacks on ordinary students of Dhaka University.

He said, 'Every day hundreds of arrests are being made. The only purpose is not to allow the BNP to enter the polls. The people of this country will not participate in the elections, except under the neutral government during elections.
