I was kind of tired of seeing all these posts online about about people hacking up their stock rear coil spring mounts to get more of a drop in the rear.

I thought there has to be an aftermarket solution. If you search for the part specifically for the 350Z or G35 you won't find it. That's because it's just a universal application, but it does fit the car very well.

In the end what we end up with is a very subtle drop in the rear, but with the meaty tires and fenders rolled we have a more level car and no rubbing issues in corners or over bumps.

I also noticed the driving characteristics were improved. I won't say because it's lower, because I don't think we lowered the center of gravity that much, but more because the polyurethane material does not compress that much. With the spring mount a little more firm, the coil spring itself can do its job better.
