As I head out of Sakata City, I travel along the eastern coast of Japan, taking in new sights and eventually ending up in a city that seems to be dominated by high school students.
After nearly 10 hours on the train, I finally pull into Nozawa Station and catch a ride to a small farming community nestled in the valley. What awaits me there is the best meal I’ve had in quite some time!
