Brigham Young University is run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Provo, Utah. The purpose of this project is to showcase the unique and varied experiences of non-Latter-day Saints at BYU, in order to improve the nonmember experience and emphasize interfaith discussions and relationships.
Adaobi Tabugbo is a Christian and a Nigerian-American track athlete. She details her experience as a Black, non-LDS athlete at BYU, her struggle to find belonging as a minority in several ways, and how her faith has grown through her time at BYU.
Leah Marett is a senior at BYU (as of the time of this video). She is a student fellow on the BYU Council for Interfaith Engagement, and desires to see a world more adept at interfaith (or inter-worldview) conversation and interaction.
