Middle Oetz - 245 Fight club flows

Описание: Such an underated piece of water, I sessioned this part of the Oetz a lot over the summer. It was one of the first rivers I kayaked after lockdown, when I was fully out of kayaking shape. At first I was out of breath after every rapid, then I got more comfortable on it and my skills and stamina came back and I started going top to bottom on it without stopping once.

I honestly feel like sessioning this part of the river at high flows day in and day out for weeks on end really made me a better kayaker.

Key thing with levels, 200 is my minimum, 225 is when I feel it starts getting rowdy and starting to become fight club flows and this video was filmed at 245 on the guage, which is the highest we pushed it this season. Hoping to get a 255 / 260 lap in next year. We also continued to run the main lines, not the sneaks at high water...

Like all peices of water in the Oetz valley, it is amazing but has the potential to be really dangerous. Make good decisions and stay safe out there!
