Doctor Hauzer for 3DO is an Unlikely Horror Game Trailblazer

Описание: Doctor Hauzer is a 3D adventure title from 1994 on the 3DO from Panasonic and Riverhillsoft. While it takes a lot of influence from the classic 3D survival horror game Alone in the Dark, it has its place in the history of survival horror as the first fully 3D entry in the genre, since character models and backgrounds are fully polygonal and allowed multiple camera angles, 3rd person, top-down and even first-person. It was yet another title that paved the way for games like Resident Evil/Biohazard, and had a lot of influence on Riverhillsoft's future title Overblood. Regarding categorizing Doctor Hauzer as a survival horror title, there is some debate, but I consider it a part of the genre.
