The Gillette Double Ring was the first safety razor from King C. Gillette. The razor was manufactured from 1903 - 1905 and originally came in a white cardboard box. Later they were sold in Lithographed metal tin and then beginning in 1904 started being sold in the more common black leather case. These sets are very difficult to come by and feature different banners from Boston, New York, and Chicago.
The rarest of these razors feature the original shipping box with cardboard blade banks with the original early editions featuring "Dull & Sharp"
