Durood Shareef
Reciting Durood Shareef brings blessings, mercy, and peace upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). The following is a beautiful and concise Durood:
"Allahumma salli ‘alaa Sayyidina Muhammadin an-Nabiyyil-Umiyy wa ‘alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim."
Meaning:
"O Allah, send prayers upon our Master Muhammad, the Unlettered Prophet, and upon his family and companions, and grant them peace."
Let us increase our recitation of Durood, as the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The closest to me on the Day of Judgment will be the one who sends the most blessings upon me.” (Tirmidhi)
