Finally, in service the NEW 2018 NF Xcelsior XDE60s enter service on 12/13/18 on Route X2.
An order of 12 XDE60 which are used to expand the artic fleet. They were spec the same way as the 2015 NF XDE60s with white LED signs and a rear window.
Currently assigned to Bladensburg division and heard that Shepherd pkwy and possibly Montgomery division have some too. Plus, these will be WMATA last hybrid bus order for awhile. There nice tics and have a ride smooth wasn't expecting Bladensburg division to get them but it a nice change.
Route: X2 Lafayette Square

Engine: Cummins L9
Transmission: Allison EP 50 Hybrid System
