Welcome back to the Off Grid Dad journey. In this episode, I take you deeper into the reality of starting a life off the grid. The road to my house is nearly impassable—damaged and broken right at the entrance to the property. Before I can even think about moving in, I’ll need to call in a bulldozer to fix it.
As if that wasn’t enough, the steep mountain behind the house is threatening the back wall after heavy rains. I’ll have to bring in large boulders and reinforce the slope to protect the structure.
And at the entrance of the house, there’s an old shed full of tools, scraps, and hidden treasures. Some of it will be saved, but eventually, that space will be transformed into a proper garage and a personal workshop where future projects will come to life.
