Surah Al-Mulk is a powerful chapter of the Qur’an that reminds us of Allah’s absolute authority over life and death. It teaches us to reflect on creation, fear Allah in private and public, and prepare for the Hereafter.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ encouraged reciting Surah Al-Mulk every night, as it intercedes for the believer and protects from the punishment of the grave.

Hadith no.1:

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “A Surah from the Qur’an containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the Surah Tabaarak Alathi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e., Surat al-Mulk].”
